- You need 2 of double cut pork chops.
- You need 2 slice of prosciutto di parma.
- It's 1/2 cup of 4 blend italian graded cheese.
- You need 1 cup of shiitake mushrooms.
- You need 1 of onion.
- You need 1/2 cup of white wine.
- Prepare 1/2 stick of butter.
- Prepare 1 of salt & pepper.
- You need 1 tbsp of olive oil.
Double Cut Pork Chop Stuffed with Prosciutto & Italian Cheese step by step
- Cut pocket in pork chops all the way down to the bone..
- Lay down the prosciutto & divide the cheese evenly between the 2 & put in the center & fold over & stuff into each pork chop & seal the end with several toothpicks.
- Add olive oil & 1 tablespoon of butter tofrying pan on medium high heat & salt & pepper both sides of the pork chops & brown & sear on all sides..
- Put pan with pork chops in 400° preheated oven & finish cooking for 10 minutes..
- Remove pork chops from pan & plate. Put wine & remaining butter in pan on medium high heat & add chopped up onion & mushrooms with salt & pepper & cook & pour over pork chops..
